UT Company Proud to Join Pavilion in Peachtree Canyon Apartments Development
UT Company is thrilled to announce our involvement in the Peachtree Canyon Apartments project, an affordable housing initiative in Las Cruces, NM. Developed by Thomas Development Group and the New Mexico Housing and Community Development Corporation, this project will feature 144 apartment units designed to serve families within the community.
The Peachtree Canyon Apartments will include six three-story buildings offering one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, as well as a community center with a computer lab, landscaped courtyards, picnic areas, playgrounds, walking paths, and pickleball courts. This development, supported by Housing New Mexico, aims to provide quality, affordable housing for families earning between 30% and 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI).

As a trusted partner of Pavilion, UT Company is responsible for comprehensive plumbing, drainage, and gas line installations throughout the development. Our team’s expertise in large-scale projects ensures that the infrastructure will meet the highest standards of efficiency and safety, supporting Pavilion’s vision for a thriving and sustainable community.
Project Timeline and Challenges
Construction is set to begin in November, with the project anticipated to complete by January 2026. The development is located in a new growth area on Las Cruces’s east mesa, which presents challenges related to integrating new infrastructure and adapting to emerging regulations. UT Company’s proactive approach will help navigate these complexities, ensuring the project remains on schedule.
Economic Impact and Future Expansion
The Peachtree Canyon Apartments are part of Housing New Mexico’s broader initiative, which includes 52 active developments across the state. This project alone represents a substantial investment in Las Cruces, with the potential to boost the local economy, create jobs, and provide essential housing solutions. Plans for a second phase, Peachtree Canyon II, are already in the works, demonstrating the community’s ongoing growth and demand for quality housing.
